NISYROS VOLCANIC ADVENTURE 

Traditional villages with breathtaking view, blue dome churches, colorful rocky edges, laid back people and the chance to walk on one of the biggest hydrothermal craters in the world! 

A visit to the neighboring island of Nisyros gives you the chance to explore one of the most interesting active volcanos in the Aegean! The island itself is unspoiled by tourism and offers a unique introduction to traditional island lifestyle. 

Program:

Pick up from your hotel entrance or other preferred location and drive to the port of Kardamena.
1 hour boat ride to Nisyros island whilst you can enjoy the views to the surrounding islands and Asia Minor. 
Visit to Volcano: 30 minutes drive to the Caldera (active volcanic pot), guiding and free time with the option to descend to the biggest crater ‘Stefanos’ and refresh yourself in the local canteen.

Photo stops at Emporio and Nikia, the local villages  located on the Caldera rim.

Mandraki: You’ll visit the picturesque island’s capital crowned by a cave monastery dedicated to Virgin Mary. Together we will walk through the village and also visit this local highlight. Your free time for lunch and discoveries included.

The program ends with boat ride back to Kardamena and transfer back to your location.

Duration: 9 hours
Price: 380 Euro for up to 4 guests. 
Surcharge of 30 Euro for every additional guest. 
Ask for the prices if your party is smaller than 4 or bigger than 8 people. 
Included: transportation, guiding services, ferry tickets, entrance fees to the Volcano and Virgin Mary cave monastery , all the local taxes.
Not included: food/drinks, personal purchases. 
Note: The pick up vehicle travels on board of the ship to Nisyros and you do the tour with it.
